Inspired by Persian Cornish Chicken Kabob, I've taken this, my Grilled Lemon Saffron Chicken Recipe to meatier heights.
Using thighs & legs on the bone, marinating them overnight in classic Persian flavors, like saffron, onion, & turmeric, I happily present the juiciest grilled (or roasted) lemon chicken recipe.
Don't have a grill? No problem using the broil setting, broil these birds for roughly 10 minutes till nicely charred, then reduce the oven temperature to 350f flip over for birds to tan on the other side and continue roasting for another 50 minutes till juices run clear. You may choose to flip once more at the 25 minute mark for even cooking. Using your heart to measure your preferred char and color.
